Privacy protection charter

GENERAL

Your personal data are processed by and under the responsibility of SRL Guibert Grandjean (dg-immo), whose head office is established at 6690 VIELSALM, rue du Vieux Marché, 7A, with VAT/BCE number: (BE) 0432.293.762 (hereinafter referred to as “dg-immo” or “ We"). We are concerned about respecting your privacy when using the dg-immo site (hereinafter the “Site”) and are aware of the importance you attach to it. This is why we only collect personal data about you if it is necessary for the purposes described in this Charter. This Charter aims to inform you completely about the personal data we collect and the use we make of it.

Personal data (hereinafter “Personal Data”) means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. A natural person is identifiable when they can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more specific elements specific to their physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, economic, cultural or social identity.

The processing of Personal Data collected via the Site is subject to Belgian law. It is subject in particular to the law of December 8, 1992 relating to the protection of privacy with regard to the processing of personal data and, from May 25, 2018, to European Regulation No. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016 relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data ("GDPR"). These legal texts guarantee specific protection to any user of the Site (“You”) whose Personal Data is processed by I.V when using the Site. This Charter is established in accordance with the obligations arising from these legal texts.

THE DATA WE COLLECT

When you use the Site, we collect and process the following Personal Data according to the terms and principles described below:

  • Your name, first name(s), postal address, email address, telephone number and any other information that you provide to us when you complete the form to create your private space;
  • The description of your goods, your preferences, your requests for detailed descriptions, your transactions and all other information that you voluntarily provide to us during your use of the Site or our services
  • Your IP address, your language preferences, the pages or sections of the site that you visit as well as other information relating to your browsing. Some of this information is collected through cookies (on this subject, see heading 5 below).

OUR USE OF THIS DATA

We use the Personal Data we collect for the following purposes:

  • Allow you to use the various functionalities of the Site and provide you with the services requested, record your questions or requests and respond to them, as well as any other use necessary for the execution of the contract that you conclude with us by using our Site and our services.
  • Send you, in particular by e-mail, information on products and services, provided that you have consented to this.
  • To comply with any request from a competent authority or to comply with any other legal or regulatory obligation to which we may be subject.
  • Ensure the IT security of the Site, prevent, detect and fight against fraudulent, illegal or contrary activities to these T&Cs, protect users of the Site or their property. This reuse of your Personal Data is justified by the need to ensure the security of our Site and our services


USE OF “COOKIES”

A “cookie” is a small information file automatically saved on your terminal when you visit the Site. This “cookie” does not allow you to be identified directly but records information on your terminal relating to your navigation on the Site. This cookie is then recognized during each of your next visits to the Site, or during your visit to another site which recognizes this cookie. The use of a “cookie” makes it possible to simplify access to the Site and optimize navigation. It can also be used to personalize the presentation of the Site for each visitor.

By using the Site, you accept that cookies are installed on your computer, allowing the storage of information relating in particular to the language chosen during your navigation and the parts of the Site visited (in particular the choice of the “private” or “professional” section of the Site). You also agree that we subsequently access the data stored in this way.

SECURITY AND TRANSMISSION OF YOUR DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

We are very attentive to the security and confidentiality of your Personal Data. We use recognized security processes to guarantee the security of the transmission of your Personal Data to and from our Site.

Your Personal Data may be transmitted to other members of the dg-immo group (www.dg-immo.be) in order to send you information on products and services similar to those offered by I.V.

We may, where applicable, transfer all or part of your data to third parties, when this is required of us by an administrative or judicial authority, in compliance with applicable legislation.

Your data is intrinsically linked to the activity of our Site and may therefore be transferred to another company in the event that we have to sell, assign, contribute or otherwise transfer all or part of our activities, or merge with another company or carry out any other form of reorganization of our business.

Apart from these hypotheses, we do not share any of your data with third parties who may use it for their own needs.

Furthermore, your data is under no circumstances stored on servers located outside the European Union.

We may also be required to process data concerning you from third parties such as the media “Immoweb, Vlan…”. These are only communicated following a request via the forms made available on their respective sites. Provided you have given your consent, your email address may be used by the agency for the purposes specified above.

SHELF LIFE

Your Personal Data is kept by dg-immo for the period necessary to provide you with the services you request from us and to respond to any questions or requests you send to us. They are then kept If you have consented to receiving information on our products and services or on similar products and services offered by dg-immo. In this case, your data will be kept until you object to this processing, which you have the right to do at any time. Afterwards, we generally delete your data, unless their retention is still necessary for one of the other purposes mentioned in point 3 above.


YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to object to the processing of your Personal Data for advertising or marketing purposes.

You have the right to access, rectify, delete, limit and oppose the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability, within the limits and according to the terms set by applicable legislation.

You can also withdraw your consent to uses you have previously authorized at any time. Please note that the withdrawal of your consent for any of these uses will not affect the processing already carried out of your Personal Data but will only apply for the future.

ENTRY INTO FORCE AND AMENDMENTS

We reserve the right to make changes to this Charter. These modifications will be brought to your attention via the Site or an individual notification, and will become effective 7 days after being thus published or communicated.
